Pajek networks

Dataset: graph

Description

The network acyclic is a network used as the basic example of acyclic graph by Vladimir Batagelj in his courses and workshops on network analysis.

The network acyclic.net describes the network. It is a simple directed network on 11 nodes with 16 arcs.

The left picture presents a 'general' drawing of acyclic.net and the right picture its drawing 'by levels':

The file acyclic.paj contains the following data:

  • acyclic.net - graph in Pajek format;
  • acyclic_depth.clu - partition by levels;
  • acyclic_order.per - topological sort order permutation;
  • inverse_acyclic_order.per - inverse permutation;
  • acyclic_coordinates.vec - double vector with (x,y)-coordinates;

The file acyclic.zip contains the following files:

  • acyclic.paj - network data in Pajek project format;
  • acyclic.ini - settings for drawing;
  • acyclic.svg - general picture of network;
  • acyclic2.svg - picture of network by levels.
