Pajek networks

Dataset: simple

Description

The network simple is a network used in examples in the book Understanding Large Temporal Networks and Spatial Networks.

The network simple.net describes the network. It is a simple undirected network on 11 nodes with 19 edges. It has two groups represented by different shapes (ellipse and box).

The network shrink.net has the same structure but different groups.

The first picture presents a drawing of simple.net and the second picture the drawing of shrink.net:

The file simple.zip contains the following files:

  • simple.net - network data in Pajek format;
  • shrink.net - network data in Pajek format;
  • simple.ini - settings for drawing;
  • simple.svg - picture of network simple.net;
  • shrink.svg - picture of network shrink.net.
