RIS (Research Information Systems citation file) Format

Preparing the RIS file

A RIS file with publications descriptions is a text file. Its structure is described in Direct Export RIS. The fields for different types of publications are specified in EN RIS documentation.

Adding references to ResearchID

  • Login Web of Science and in My Tools select ResearcherID.
  • Login ResearcherID. In the list of publications in the right upper corner click on the button Add Publications.
  • Select the Option 3: Upload RIS File

  • Using the Browse button select the file to upload and click on the button Upload File.
